When I Started:
How I Started:
I have always been the skinny kid all the way through High School. I was as tall as I am now, 5'10 and was about 135. I was on the diving team during my Freshman year, and got the nickname of "Skeletor". After that it took a toll and I started to work out. Then I joined the Marine Corps and it took of like a rabbit.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the feeling of the pump and the noticable progress that can be made with a little hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
To always improve myself and to better my physical condition, especially being in the Military.
Already in Iraq, have about 4 months left to go. Starting a 12 week plan out of the June edition of Muscle and Fitness.
Goal (Long):
Will try and get this updated as much as possible as to how the 12 week program is going. I am actually going to cycle off of the usual NO and Creatine supplements that I take. The only ones that I will be using are:
-Optimum Nutritoin 100% Whey (before gym/after gym/before bed)
-Optimum Nutrition BCAA (powder) mix with before and after protien)
-Optimum Nutrition Glutamine (powder) after proten/before bed)
-Multi vitamin
-Flax Oil (pills)
-Celadrin
-Animal Flex
-HMB Morning/Lunch/Dinner
Well today I took another PFT, 3 mile run (29 min max) pull-ups (20 max) and crunches (100 max). 20 pull-ups like usual, 100 crunches like usual, but the run time is always up for debate. I havent done a lot of cardio in the last 2 months except for riding my bike to and from work which...
My day has been good so far thanks. Am getting into the shower then off to run a bunch of errands that have piled up. Yuk on the sandstorm! Did you have to ride your bike in that? Yikes! I also want to get the June issue of M&F that you speak of in your blog. Maybe I could try it...I guess it's ok for girls, right?
Hey! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I had a good weekend but very busy with work and stuff around the house. Am only now just getting to sit! I'm pooped! Glad all went well with your pft! Too bad about your neck. Do you have access to a chiropractor? They always do wonders for my stiff neck.
HEY Marine !! If you want to get on our sends list, shoot me your name, address, end date & wish list.. Of course we will hook you up with whatever you need :)
