When I Started:
Mar, 2000
How I Started:
I began competitive swimming at the age of 7. I trained religously, swimming day and night and moving up the ranks as a top swimmer. However, one day I broke both bones in my right arm, radius and ulna. My right arm was in a cast for the next 6 months. When the cast finally came off, little muscle was left in my right arm and I could not bend my arm. After many sessions of physical therapy, I gained movement back in my arm. To build muscle, I turned to lifting weights. Lifting weights helped me to redevelop the muscle in my right arm needed to compete at a top level in the pool. Since then, I realized the many benefits of lifting weights and eating properly. By the year 2000 I was in the weight room all the time.
Why I Love It:
There is no better feeling than getting in the gym and pushing my body to the max! After walking out of the gym I feel physically and mentally indestructible. Not only does working out build my physical strength, it builds my mental strength.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am driven by all bodyspace members. The bodyspace community has inspired me to push myself to be the best I can be.

Thanks so much Timothy! You're looking pretty awesome there. I'm seeing a trend from attorney to PT...you, cwpullups. Nice to see people getting moving! :) Hope you have a Happy New Year!
Tim the sweet talker... lol. No really thanks for the nice compliments. Hows the transition going from the desk job, I'm sort of in the middle of leaving my desk job. Its the best thing I have ever done! Although your desk job sounds like it would have been more interesting than mine!
Thanks mate. Inner chest tips = slow controlled movements on close grip bench and slow controlled flyes too making sure you squeeze at the end of each rep.
