Just recently decided to start lifting and getting the max results from being in shape. Don't want to compete, just want a rockin body.
Why I Love It:
I love running. I hate lifting. I'm sure I will get addicted to it soon enough, when I start seeing awesome results.

Goal (Long):
I was a competitive runner all through Grade School, High School, and College. I could eat what I wanted and never gain weight, because of all the running. After marriage and kids, I have gained over 52 pounds of fat. I have lost 18 pounds so far just eating different. As a runner, I never lifted weights, but I was very thin and oddly already muscular. My goal is to loose fat, but this time add some weight training to get that look I want to achieve.
This member proves that a 54 year old can look like she's in her 30's. That there is no excuse for ANYONE not to work out to look and feel good. Way awesome and amazing.
Lifted real good this week. I made sure that I lifted enough weight that would be close the failure on the last rep. Trying to decide if 12 reps or 15 reps are better for me to tone and tighten. Doing 6 sets on all body parts except for 9 sets for the back and chest. I have to say, still...
