drop about 20lbs so I can be all that for my husband and be able to keep up with my daughter.
Goal (Long):
I never really had a problem with my weight. I joined the Army in Jan of 05 weighing 142lbs. I lost 24lbs. throughout training. When I got to my first duty station, I was only 118lbs. I met my husband and one year later I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Well, during my whole pregnancy, I gained like 50 lbs! I'm only 5'1''! I've been putting off getting back how I used to be, but this year is going to be different. My husband does his best to tell me that I'm fine the way I am, but if I'm not happy with my body I plan to do something about it.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
I like having a workout partner because he keeps me focused and I always try to beat him in everything.

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I take out old pictures of me before I became pregnant to see where i can go back to and I also look at pics of my daughter so she can be proud of me and so I can keep up with her.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
This is year I'm for real! Yeah right! How many times have I said that? One of my New Year goals is to lose at least 20lbs. I't's so hard though! I took me forever to get rid of the first 20, but I guess that was automatic because it was from just giving birth. I'm having a slow recovery because...

I know the road seems long and sometimes very frustrating..but trust me, take it one day at a time..1 lb at a time and i'm not kidding they all add up!! You can do it and you WILL do it!:)
Always remember that you are BEAUTIFUL inside and out..Love yourself for who you are and make the changes necessary to get to your goal!!:) I can't wait to see more of your progress and journey:)
