Well, maybe in time ;) I think if you let yourself do it you'd see that over time you have more control and less desire for the crap anyway. But, hey, whatever works for ya... you're kickin @$$ anyway =) You'll be fine through December... I know it ;) Enjoy it though. Got 1 more final tonight then I'm done for a few weeks! Although I may get certified over the break; that won't be easy.

Maybe Joe could design you a diet that is similar to what I'm talkin about. If you're interested let me know and I can PM you my meal plan so you can get an idea of what I've been doin. Then either you or Joe could fix up a diet for you. So far this week my body fat has gone down! My weight has too, but it's all good =) Haha I'm sure it'll be up next week!!!

Putting in max effort in the gym is crucial. LOL, the thing is the cookies can help :) Hey, you should seriously try the approach I've been doing. It is workin really well for me. I carb cycle Mon-Fri and eat kinda loose on Sat & Sun. Throwing the 3 days in there where I am in a deficit really allows me to enjoy different foods here and there without ever going into too high of a surplus. Also, the 3 lower Cal days have not hindered strength or LBM gains.

Yeah, man ;) I'm feelin pretty good. For the 1st time since my 1st 6 months of serious training I think I am getting many things right when it comes to training and dieting. Just tryin to keep the momentum goin as much as I can, ya know? I'm really excited to cut down a bit, b/c I think the progress will be really evident then - IF I can cut down right (i.e. not lose muscle). Dude, keep that head up ;)

Way to go! I know that is tough! Every year this carb body shop drops off this tray of baked goodies, and I always eat like one of each thing LOL. Thanks. It feels so good to be making a "comeback." It's funny, I really think I can see the changes in my physique recently. Like, I don't think I look small anymore. Not sayin I think I'm big for a natty, but I don't think I'm terribly small anymore. I don't know, Nicole. I am "tempted" to try another show this summer... "tempted."

Takin a break from studying... got 1 tomorrow then 3 on Thurs! Gym's been great lately. I feel I'm making big strides on various levels of my fitness life style. My back hasn't been bothering me at all, and I am back to doin bent over rows and front squats (still no deadlifts or back squats). How are you?

Sorry to hear that, but don't give up! I'm tellin you, enjoy yourself a bit the next couple weeks, but don't be a glutton. And don't get that mentality that since ya over did it once or whatever now it's time to just go balls to the wall. That just makes things worse. If you splurge a bit at one meal then make the next meal smaller. Try to even things out a bit.

Oh, well good in the sense that you're fine mentally, but sorry to hear your belly reacted negatively... I pretty much can eat anything and feel fine haha... maybe if it was the other way it'd help me not eat junk so frequently =p Hey, I front squatted 130 x 10 today... movin on up :)

Thanks :) Yeah, gymnastics are so cool! I tried gymnastics as a kid, but quit b/c I was too scared to do the bars. Haha there would've been numerous other things I wouldn't have had the ballz to do too! Awesome stuff though. The past 6 wks have been productive: net wt gain of 3 lbs and %bf went from 13.6 to 13.8. So, when are ya gonna do another show? In Aug 2010? Ya gonna do the Eastern Seaboards again?

Haha nice. Very true; bein well rounded is the way to be. I've been good, man, thanks. Busy. School, kids, wife, work, you know the drill. I am hoping to get my NSCA CPT within the next couple months. I was gonna go for the CSCS just b/c I have the degree, but it'd probably be really tough since I don't know much about the athlete training side. I'l have to peruse through your journal this week to see what I've been missing.

No problem ;) Thank you very much - I appreciate that! Training has been goin great the past few months. I herniated a disc last year and for several months training was just goin down hill despite how hard I tried to keep the intensity up. Recently though I've been movin back on up to where I was before, so I'm feelin good :) How about you?
