Background

When I Started: Aug 2003
HOW I STARTED:

I was on a track and field scholarship at Notre College of Ohio, my roommate while on campus was a wrestler. He placed 5th in the State of Ohio. After my freshman year he invited me to workout with him one day, so I went. I would barely get 70 pounds up on bench press, ever since then I was hooked.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Working out takes me away from everything that's going on in my life. I turn on the MP3 player and hit the weights as hard as I can.The second reason is that enjoy getting compliments about my body! Working out gives me a sense of confidence(sorta strange but it does) I like the way my body looks!

Caught in the Middle of this Love affair.

So I'm very happy with the gains I've seen over the last 6 weeks. I gained 3 pounds of muscle in that time span and my body fat percentage didn't increase... I'm caught in the middle of a personal fight. I'm strongly considering ramping up my cardio training and gear it totally to tri training but I'm afraid if I do the muscle I've worked so hard getting is all going to go away. I play football now and 230 is a decent weight, I don't feel bulky... I swim and I've just started to cycle(My butt is killing me, I don't know how Lance does it???)  i just don't want to hit the weights ha...

Quick Gains!!

I just switched gym before the New Year and couldnt help but notice a quick burts in mass I gained. I havent measured and parts yet but in 2 and a half weeks with the help of creatine and protein I stacked on 7 pounds of pure muscle brining me at 222.5 pounds. I'm loving the way my traps look and my arms! I will push it harder in the weight room to see how much more I can gain while my body is building. I dont know if the ZMAs' at nigth help but i was taking those also. I'll be taking some measurements tonight and some pics to upload for my new weight 222.5! Hope you guys like the new muscle a...

Work has been crazy! I'm getting ready to move in two weeks and i've been spending time with my daughte. I missed the gym all week. I feel like sh**! I'm starting up again next week, I just got me a new bottle of Muscle Milk and I'm starting mx 3 the following week. I'm excited to see the results! I will be posting week by week pics. I play semi-pro football here in Cleveland so I get about 3-4 times the Cardio in so I'll be way good. My goal is to get to 220lbs, lets see where the journey takes me. I dont think I'm built to be that big considering when I started i was 165lbs. I'm currently at...

miked512 I have four official workout days and those are twice a day, full body workouts. On weekends I do whatever madness is come up with by me and a few friends of mine. I seem to be progressing right along but only time will tell. Ha ha, its good to see you're eating and training the way you are. Hhhmmm, and you're doing cardio too and managed to gain a good pound of muscle. Thats actually good stuff. Keep up the good work. Feb 3, 2009 7:10pm

kimmypoohx3 ah i used to lift at U.A.! well actually, a friend of mine's dad owns all of the powerhouse gyms around here and they are putting one in medina-it should be open in the next month or two. it is definitely the best gym in the area-if you make a left on 18 off of 71 it's on the right hand side about a quarter mile down Jan 18, 2009 1:29pm
