How I Started:
fire department got a bowflex and I wanted to try it and I got addicted. I love to see what I can accomplish. My body is begging for me to challenge it more every week.
Why I Love It:
I like the feeling of power I get just to move my arms or legs now. I can really feel the muscles working. I can breathe better, starting to look better, and have better confidence.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of the unhealthy lifestyle I could go back to if I stop. I like to be able to bend over and tie my shoes with out getting out of breath.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 30 lbs 6 in in waist and gained 3inches in my arms.

taken earlier this year 292lbs and not much mucle. tried dieting I went down to 280 and then back to 288.Trying weightlifting with a bowflex now to seeif I can change that.
Starting over again.2008 was a bad year for our family and didnt have time to keep up with everything. Now I am back.

Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
I train with my daughter and I like it because it gives me a sufficient time to take a breather while waiting for her to get done with her set. I dont get the way some people think. I got done with an extremely tiring workout last Friday and stopped by a friends house on the way home. While I was there another friend came over also and asked what I was doing tonight. I told him nothing just got done working out and on my way home....

Sorry to hear about all your set backs they are never fun.. I've had a few myself and am picking myself up and dusting off currently too.. Lets make 09 a year not to forget!!!
I believe you will get the best results using a good workout & nutrition program. I followed the Body for Life 12 week program and lost 50 lb’s and dropped my bodyfat from 36% to 10% and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6. I believe by using their weightlifting, cardio & nutrition program you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur. Give me a yell if you wish.

awe I'm sorry. :( could be the littlest thing... how's your water intake? I know that always makes a difference for me..not as big of one as your dealing with but somewhat. Hope you get things figured out. Don't get discouraged it will work out.
