I originally tried working out alone at home with no experience. Once my interest grew larger a couple of the most knowledgeable people at my school welcomed me to start lifting with them on a daily basis. They just happen to be my best friends until this day
Why I Love It:
The people who don't understand working out. I always hear people saying they need to get big but they don't want to get big and give the effort and time, they expect to get huge in a few weeks. It's obviously far from the truth bodybuilding takes patience and consistency with proper nutrition and training in order to achieve your goals
How I Stay Motivated:
Ever look in the mirror and not feel satisfied? enough said.

How much protein do you eat when trying to gain? I have been getting in 185 grams (1.5xbw), 244 carbs (2xbw), and 70 grams fat (~0.6 g/b) and still not gaining weight. I was wondering if I should bump everything up a bit, or keep protein whhere it is at and just up carbs/fats.
Dude, your before/after progress pics are insane! Grats on achieving your goal. If you keep up with what you've achieved you will kill at the 2010 competition!
