When I Started:
Mar, 2006
How I Started:
I have always been a tall skinny guy and as far back as I can remember I've always hated my body. I've dibbled and dabbled with weights ever since the "Hulkamainia Workout Set." That really shows my age! Anyway I've always been a hard gainer so everytime I started working out, I didn't see any results quick enough to satisfy my impatience. About four years ago I really commited and I began to see results. I've been at it ever since!
Why I Love It:
I like being strong, I love the extra confidence it gives me and I like the way my clothes are beginning to fit me. I used to buy big shirts and pants that would conceal my little body. Now I can wear classy clothes that fit and feel good about it.
How I Stay Motivated:
To tell you the truth it's no longer just motivation for me, it's an addiction. I have to work out. If I miss a day and can't make it up the next day, I automatically feel like I'm loosing weight; no kidding! I don't know if that's good or bad but it is what it is!

Goals:
Main Goal:
Gain Muscle
Goal (Overall):
I want to add 10 pounds of muscle by the end of the year.
Goal (Long):
I grew up as a skinny kid and matured into a skinny adult. At 29 years old I weighed 147 lbs of skin, bones and calf muscles. I started working out and now at 33 I weigh 167 lbs of mostly muscle. When I started out I could do a maximun of two pull-ups and could barely bench press 55 lbs. Now I can do more than 20 pull-ups and have a bench max of 235. I have come a long way and I feel great but I'm not satisfied. I'd like to put on 10 more pounds of muscle this before this year is out and I'm highly motivated to do so. I don't have a trainer so I know there are plenty of things that I could do better. I takes tips whenever or where ever I can get them. I definitely need help with my legs because I have bad knees. I know that there are tehniques out there that I could utilize for strength training without causeing further damage to my knees.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%
