Wow, this St Louis weather continues to be unusually cool and pleasant. It has been great. We are getting the gift of yet another blue sky and sunshine weekend with temps only expected to reach the 80's today. Uncanny for St Louis! We have been blessed with a very...
I started EXACTLY at the weight/bf% you have.... YOU CAN AND WILL do it ! Be patient and don't focus too much on the scale. Go by your measurements and ur clothes.. trust me been there done that still doing it :)
Hi Carol :-) How are you doing? Hey... don't look at that scale! I know...easier said than done, right!, but look at it this way you may be developing muscles which is a good thing because will burn fat. The walking you are is great and that's exactly how I lost my first 30lbs. just keep up with it. You can do, I know you can! :-)
So how are you doing? Are you keeping to your diet and setting goals. I just put up my new goals for this month.I also put up some pics. I lost 3 inches in my waist in one month. check it out. I want to encourage you to keep motivated. I know it is hard, but the hard work does pay off and it is so worth it.Talk to you soon! *hugs*
You have the right idea. Short terms goals with a one long term goal. I enjoy workouting out alot. But until I learned about eating right, I just got big and out of shape. It takes it all cardio, weight training, and most importantly good healthy diet. The diet has been the hardest for me to learn. The six small meal thing works best for me. Keeps that motabillism high. Body for Life or Eating Clean by Tosca Reno. They are not diets they are a lifestyle.
Thanks for stopping by my Blog. And you know...a few short years ago I was just starting out too! Come often and message any time you need some help! Use the community of this site! Best wishes! Adina
Thanks Carol : ) I love shoulders so I devote a whole workout day to them. If you love biceps work em extra hard and you'll see the results! I'm rooting for you!
Check out this article 'Hugo's Rules for Getting Lean in 8 Weeks' is 2 part article to help you shed fat. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fu n/hugo29.htm
Create a food log so you can track calories for fat loss deficiency. Takes discipline but well worth it. Good luck!
You should see my husbands profile (fleettechrob)!! His transformation is more noticeable than mine and because of his success, it keeps me going towards mine. He's really a great motorvator when my chips are down on loosing weight. :-)
Hi Carol,
Best of luck with your goals. You will get there. Its a lifestyle change and it takes time but its worth it. Its a never endiing journey for sure.
YOU CAN DO IT!!! that fact that you want to do something is a good start. Believe me, I thought I would NEVER post my picture wearing a bathing on the internet!!! Yikes! It takes time, but its worth every effort you make. You can write me anytime, still a newbee on this body building, but I know where you are coming from.
Go for it!! :-)
This is a program that really gives you results and I was able to lose over 50 lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the 12-week Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) dropped from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 by also using the same program. I have found that you get the best results by following a well-designed routine and if you challenge yourself you will be amazed at the changes and how fast they happen. Let me know if you wish more info.
Hi Carol good luck with your goals.10 by the end of August, you can definitely do it,then it will be on to next 10 and so on.I hope you have a great day.
