How I Started:
honestly i just got tired of being skinny. i used to do push ups and sit ups but i wanted more. so i went down to the college gym and started lifting. i didn't know what i was doin at the time, but i started doin research and it became a habit.
Why I Love It:
it makes me feel great. and i'm not so skinny any more. plus it helped alot with my ADD, i don't know if there is a direct conection but it is a little easier to pay attention in class.
How I Stay Motivated:
at first i was real mad at a couple of guys and wanted to kick their ass. at the time they where a lot bigger then me. so i thought i'd level the playing field. haha, but that was then. i ended up not fighting, we workd things out. but by then i was noticing a difference and wanted to see some more results. plus i come from a big family. most played foot ball and are 6 foot somethin and over 200 pounds so i look small next to them.
BB Accomplishments:
going for 127 to 160 in a year! now i'm at 175!!!!

i was always the skinny kid growing up. skinniest in my family and friends. i wanted to change that, so one winter qtr in college i made up my mind that i don't want to be skinny anymore and i've been lifting ever since

What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
i had no idea what i was doin.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
well what i did, i found the most biggest guy in the gym and asked what should do.
so go do the same haha.
plus, don't worry about adding weight for a while. just get used to the motion that the wiegh...more
