How I Started:
I've been pretty athletic and healthy my entire life. I hit a few speed bumps and my health derailed. I went from being in great shape at 125lbs to maxing 167lbs at 30% body fat.
Why I Love It:
Working out is a great release. It is a great stress reliever and gives me confidence. I love working out because I feel empowered. (I know it sounds lame but hey it floats my boat!)
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at myself in the mirror every day. I'm motivated by my progress. I refuse to go back to that unhealthy state of mind and body!
BB Accomplishments:
I went from 167lbs 30% body fat in January to 147lbs 24.8% body fat in April. I had a few personal struggles in April and May but started to get back on the bandwagon. In May I gained weight and was back at 152lbs and 25% body fat. I'm now motivated more than ever to push myself to the limits!
My husband is in the military and has been deployed since January. I want him to come home to the new me. I've made progress since he's been gone but I haven't achieved my goals that I made when he left. I have to succeed for myself and for my husband.
