How I Started:
I have struggled for years with an eating disorder that left my body with a sluggish metabolism and more body fat than when I started. After much convincing from my wonderful boyfriend (who is also into lifting), I decided to try to get back on track. That's when I discovered the wonderful world of figure and fitness modeling and my idea of beauty completely shifted from bone-thin models to strong, lean women. I want to be one of those women! So here I am!
Why I Love It:
It has been vital to my recovery and I love the feeling of being lean and getting stronger each and everyday (if not physically than at least mentally!)
How I Stay Motivated:
I remind myself of where I have been and never want to return to, and where I want to be.

crazy weird!! we're like twins- my boyfriend got me started too! haha when's your birthday?? wow, LOVE your goal. definitely need to get on that one. actually wait, one week would be enough of a start for me.

I 100% recommend running the mini-marathon girl! It's awesome! You'll love every minute of it...or should I say, every hour of it haha. Took me 2hrs13mins. Not too bad for 13.1 miles huh? LOL! I totally agree, girls like us ROCK!!!! :)
