Eat for overall health; managing PCOS symptoms.
For years I have been battling symptoms of a hormonal matter-Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which (without getting descriptive on non-nutritonal matters) causes my body to be prone to insulin-resistance and I retain water from the carbohydrate and sugar spikes. With that said, I typically keep a low-carb, higher protein and fat diet and my body has become accustom to utilizing fats as fuel, even while keeping out most dairy (because of the additives and possible hormones); you could call me a Keto-Paleo hybrid.
Organic/Cage-free Eggs with broccoli and coconut oil. (At times, I do add in a small sweet potato.)
Sunwarrior Raw Vegan protein powder with flax or chia seed, almond milk, spinach, and cinnamon.
Hormone/Antibiotic-free Chicken breast with asparagus or zucchini OR make it a salad with cucumber, spinach, red pepper and raw apple cidar vinegar.
Egg whites whisked with stevia, vanilla extract, cooked and topped with natural nut butter or a variety of baking nuts.
