Background
Putting on to much weight and constantly outgrowing my pants is what initially got me started. (my butt got big) I didn't realize how much weight I put on until i saw some vacation pics. It all started there.
The sport has given me pride, confidence and a lot less bodyfat. never in my wildest dreams did i ever, ever think i'd be working out, competing and personal training. i didn't know it when i started, but this whole process was a dream come true.

Switched to Crossfit
Posted in Training : Mar 28, 2011 5:42pmPretty much this blog will mimic a blog post from about 1 year ago in which I said I was happy with my contest prep. Ditto. Only difference from last year is the majority of my training for this weekend's show was crossfit.
All the pullups and oly lifting made a big difference overall. Not to mention I can do pullups like nobody's business :) Now I"m addicted to snatching and cleans. Very cool lifts but even after a year I'm still learning them. Lot more complicated than I ever thought. But still very cool.
