Overall Goal: I want to achieve physical excellence and build a physique to be proud of.

When I Started:
Oct, 2003
How I Started:
I have always admired the physique of Sylvester Stallone in Rocky 4, but over the years the influence of a co-worker really jumpstarted me to bodybuild. When I first began to workout, many of my co-workers found it amusing. They did not take me seriously-they said that I was just wasting my breaktime. However, I continued on regardless. Eventually another co-worker, who shared my passion for pumping iron really encouraged me without even saying a word. I noticed how much jealousy and envy people had for his powerfully built physique--yet he just continued to do what he had to do. He taught me to let haters do what they do best--hate. I think from my progress that I have had the last laugh, and they haven't seen anything yet-NOTHING will deny me the physique I desire!!!
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding has given me the confidence in my ability to not only set goals, but realize that I can achieve them. Although I am not quite where I desire to be RIGHT NOW, rest assured I will continue to work hard, remain focused and driven--ever so determined to reach my goal: physical excellence!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
The men and women of BodySpace keep me motivated. Their determination, their focus, their devotion to being absolutely the very best they could possibly be is truly motivational AND inspirational. Thank you Bodybuilding.com for such a wonderful site!!! But when it is all said and done my beautiful wifey Michelle is my main source of motivation, as well as my personal cheerleader--THANKS BOO!!!!
BB Accomplishments:
My best accomplishment so far is doing 26 pullups(full extension at bottom-no halfsies)in one set.

Kane. Dude you look like the model for muscle anatomy. Your excellent combo of mass , definition AND striations is quite the trifecta!!! Keep doing what you do bro. You DEFINITELY inspire me!!!
My man Troy(aka the Blond Bruce Lee) inspires me!!! His shredded--high definition physique is one the Legendary Mr. Lee himself would be proud of. You have achieved physical excellence Troy. Keep up the GREAT work, and keep on inspiring.
Description: Even though I wasn't really using any significant weight, my objective for this workout was staggered reps(steady and slow) for muscle shaping and definition. Stay tuned for future videos, I think you'll like them--yeah wait until you see em.

Another week is in the books, and yet another good workout. Yesterday(Friday) I totally killed my back. I threw everything but the kitchen sink into my workout-stressing volume as well as poundage. Rows ranged from 150lbs to 230lbs on the cables. On pullups and chinups I really bottomed...
