How I Started:
Going through a divorce, I found working out helped me deal with the stresses.
Why I Love It:
The complete balance between mind and body. Plus it allows me to eat a few things I know I shouldn't!
How I Stay Motivated:
The way it makes me feel is enough of a motivator. My body tells me when I haven't worked out and I use that as a motivator. Otherwise, it's my wonderful family and new friends.
BB Accomplishments:
none so far. I'm just getting started. Ok, not quite accurate. I have modeled successfully in the past but this is a new beginning so none this go-around.

I want to fight off the effects of aging and in order to do that I need to pick up my work-out intensity. I want to look and feel better for myself, kids, family and ones I love. Keeping my body fit also keeps my mind healthy. I lead an active and healthy lifestyle but want to take it to the next level of fitness and bodybuilding. I may enter a competition as I move along.

Yes
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Keeps me motivated as we comment on each others form and push each other for personal best. I like the interaction. Makes time go by faster when I'm bored.
I was right. I had more energy going into todays work-out. The weekend was good for lifting my overall attitude toward working out. Even though I took yesterday off I still was active and surrounded myself with very positive, supporting people. I had a minor personal... ummmm.... well, a...
