How I Started:
Started lifting as a freshman in High School for football... Continued with our Strength and conditiong class junior and senior year.. Really got into olympic and powerlifts the summer before going to college
Why I Love It:
I go nuts if I dont do it.. and I obviously need to my genetics are poor as far as body fat is concerned. I love moving big weight and the rush that comes along with it. Setting goals and surpising myself by blowing through them is always nice :-)
How I Stay Motivated:
I know where I have been and where I want to go.. Plus when I see myself in the mirror it reminds me what I need to do.

Goal (Long):
I have been out of the GYm for over a year and a half due to some new joys in my life (marriage and a baby). I definatley put on the pregnancy weight, about 40 pounds. I started doing some basic cardio and body weight exercises about three weeks ago. I went back into the gym last week and started my Powerlifting routine with a two week on heavy exposive movements and one week on one body part a day split. I would like to get back some of the strength and speed that I had as a college baseball player. Im looking to blow past my previous bests and become very "functionally" strong. I obviously need to loose some of the tubby tubby that I have accumulated, but more importantly to me I would like to feel that satisfaction of moving large amounts of weight quickly and explosively. I would like to get to a 400 lb bench press, a 550 pound squat, a 350 pound hang or power clean, a 600 lbs deadlift, a 200 lb snatch, and I would like to be able to dunk a basketball again. Im only 6'1 and did it at 230 pounds so this is a goal I can reach.

Mine... my students think im famous.. haha I dont want to look like anyone else I just want to get bigger stronger and a bit leaner
Jesus Christ i started the tremendous pleasure workout from Istvan Javorek. I did it about two years ago right before I had to stop lifting. I felt so much stronger afterwards. I forgot how much of an ass kicker this workout is. Didnt really fair to well on the hill sprints. Lost my breakfast...
