I just got tired of being ashamed of taking my shirt off. Something had to happen, and since I gave up tobacco in August, I decided now was the perfect time to take care of it.

I'm not sure I want popular opinion on my side -- I've noticed those with the most opinions often have the fewest facts.
First picture taken as I'm just starting out. Things have got to change, and now is the time.
Almost didn't take it today, feeling really bloated. Guess I'm in touch with my feminine side. LOL. Needed to stay consistent with taking one every 4 weeks so here it is.
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
My favorite is bycicling, however, being in Colorado those chances are slim during the winter. I've decided to move indoors and use the stairmaster or elliptical.

What is your cardio exercise plan?
ATM just to burn the fat off. I go 30 using the fat burning program of the machine I'm on. May not be the most accurate, but I enjoy working it and that is half the battle won.
Currently using what I call Phase One. I'm getting back into lifting and in doing so, I've built a routine that focuses on the primary lifts. This routine is done 3 times a week, and will continue for 12 weeks. This work-out is preceded by 10 min of light cardio to get the blood flowing...
You are welcome. I hope in a year's time you can look back and remember that 1st workout as the beginning of a whole new life to share with those kids!
you are doing great. just like myself, a work in progress. Cathedrals were not built in a month. we'll do it. transformation is now in our blood
stay focused
hey man, thanks for the rep! By the way, you oughta change your sig from "I just want to look better and feel healthier" to "I'M GONNA LOOK BETTER AND BE HEALTHIER, DAMN IT!"
decided to take a little time off. I have some non lifting related surgery coming up in a week that will take some recovery so i figure I'll take it as a sign to back off for a bit. I'm also going to try to figure out how to better prepare for an entire season of throwing.
