7 weeks out, and starting to see some progress......
I am currently working to make the transition from powerlifting to physique competition.
Goal (Long):
I came into lifting 2 years ago. After injuries forced me to retire at age 17 from my 6-hour/day swimming career, I quickly gained about 30 pounds and lots of fat in college. I quickly became addicted to the challenge of competitive powerlifting, however, and have spent the last 2 years consistently breaking records in many federations.
I am, however, worried about injuries, and the increasing pain in my spine. So, it's on to the next challenge! I am currently working to transition from powerlifting to figure competitions; show schedule for 2008 is pending.
