When I Started:
Sep, 2005
How I Started:
One day in my dorm room (approximately Oct. '04) I got bored. Something sparked me into going to the gym (something I've NEVER done.) Subconsciously, I think it was wanting to look good for the ladies on campus. I never was a ladies man and quite frankly, I'm still not very smooth. haha So I went to the gym and had a lot of fun. Just never quit going...
Why I Love It:
When I walk into the gym, I know I'm going to face struggles. I know I'm going to perspire. I know that I'm about to push my limits. What I learn in the gym reflects how I act outside the gym. Dream big, grow big, and take a chance! Bodybuilding stretches my limits and that's why I love it.
How I Stay Motivated:
My body is constantly changing which to me is motivation. As long as my body keeps transforming, I'll stay motivated and focused. Also, the fact that I'm constantly learning about myself keeps pushing harder and further.
I've over come some hardships in my life. Anyone that has seen my pictures knows that I have a huge scar on my abdominals. When I was a teenager, my life was threatened by a problem unknown to my doctors. During my explarotory surgery (my 2nd surgery), they finally found the problem to save my life.
My weight dropped to 86 Lbs and I lost a lot of my hair due to the strain and antibiotics. And 6 months later, I was in a car wreck breaking both of my legs and my left knee.
I'm telling this story just to get to this point:
Strength doesn't come from what you accomplish. Strength comes for the barriers you knock down and the walls you climb over to reach your goals. Never give up on your dreams because they ARE reachable. You just have to believe in yourself and push yourself past everything you thought was impossible to reach them sometimes.
Dream big, grow big - mind, heart, and body!
BB Accomplishments:
My major accomplishment is my healthy lifestyle. Hopefully I'll be adding years to my life by staying true to myself and staying healthy. This summer I plan on entering my first bodybuilding competition. Right now I'm just getting ready for that and trying to help others accomplish their goals along the way!
Achieving the success of having a spectacular body is no feat for slackers, but is within reach of everyone that is willing to put their bodies to the test and that are more than willing to fulfill their desires of looking extraordinary.

Yo! Thanks for the tips... for me though it's a bit different: I took that advice before and my arms didn't grow that well from minimal training. It wasn't til I did what many might call "overtraining" with my arms that they've come up quicker than before. I train them 2x a week - Mon & Thurs. Maybe it may be better if I do a few months of high volume and then a few with low volume... hmmm... I dunno. Thanks though, man.
I broke 2 bones in my toe that will put me out for 6 weeks..maybe more...I was working over at a lumber yard and a block of scrap wood fell on my foot!
I was in the same boat! But I don't know, I feel a little too old to keep doing it now. But I have a much bigger passion for bodybuilding than I ever did for skating. It has such a big impact on every part of your life! Good luck man, seriously I'm not just trying to be complimentary, you are in fantastic condition and I'd be shocked if you came in any less than first!
Yeah...it's going really well but the humidity here is otherworldly. I can't believe there are actually places that exist that are MORE humid. I imagine those places to be closer to the equator and have spiders and shit like that movie Arachnophobia.
It looks like somebody (YOU) just slapped a big heap of muscle on your chest! WOW! I want your lats and tiny tiny waist (or at least ones like yours.) Just awesome!
