I just read your new Blog man, 'Intimadated'.
You are far from pathetic for a start! If you were pathetic you wouldnt be doing anything to improve yourself, when we know you are. Just because you had a rough past does not make you a pathetic person. far from it. It makes people stronger. Its sure as hell made me stronger.
Keep fighting the good fight man! You'll get there. :)
You'll do it, you just need to start the day by looking at BB.com so you can keep your goal in mind thru the day. One day of eating right, is the start to being cut! One day at a time. Don't cheat and don't say I'll start tomarrow, Do It Today! I'll check back on you later. just keep up the good work! and You'll be buying the medium! Darrell
Kevin, I don't take off my shirt until I get in the pool. I dry and put it right back on. Swimming is the very "best for burning calories" and is safe on joints. My kid grabs my neck and I "run" around the edge of the pool (4.5ft deep)she loves it. "I started by walking in the pool" Darrell
That is what drives me. Whether i can lift 5 lbs heavier or i can increase even a single more rep. That is progress. And within time these smaller goals become bigger goals.
5"8 235 lbs. It took time to gain such great levels of motivation and drive. There were times that I did get depressed threw in the towel and walked away from bodybuilding. It took my friend to get me back into it. Now i live off setting small goals. When i reach them i am really astonished and happy. So then i begin to set more goals.
Wow, dude. That was really touching. Thank you SO much for the kind words. The fact that I inspire you actually inspires me to keep pushing on and improving. It gets tough for all of us sometimes, but if you've got it in you to lose 70 lbs, you've got it in you to go the rest of the way. Let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help. :)
