How I Started:
I have been training on and off for most of my life and after a few slack years travelling/woring in the UK I returned home to New Zealand and got straight back into the gym and was loving it! Then I had a major set back early 2005... I had an accident and cut my eye leading to 5 major surgeries (retina detachement etc) over the past 16 months. The docs wouldn't let me train or play any sports!! It was a pretty depressing time but I took to running (which I really started to enjoy) to keep my cardio in check..and to keep me sane!
But I got the all clear late last year, my docs have allowed me back to the gym and to hit the weights again..sweet!
I've really been enjoying getting back into it, the lifestyle, the people and getting my strenght and shape back. It was a bit daunting at first (I hate going to the gym and feeling weak!) but i'm getting there and I think 2007 will be a great year for me...I can't wait to put in some major effort and see the results!!!

The awesome feeling after a great workout! Seeing the results and just feeling great..fit & strong!

Seeing results and getting positive comments from friends..and on bodyspace..ha ha ;o)
BB Accomplishments:
Not Bodybuilding (yet) but I completed the Oxfam "Worlds Greatest Team Challenge" 100km walk in April 2006 - 30 hours of straight walking over rough terrain! Toughest thing I've ever done! But it was an awesome challenge
