I think I was lifting weights in the womb. My first memory in a gym lifting was at 13 years old.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. I feel good during and after, and when I am in shape, it makes me look good.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's VERY hard, but like I said. I love the way it makes me feel, STRONG. And, I am now motivated to compete again in NPC Fitness at the national level and to surf like crazy.

Goal (Long):
I've already lost 14 lbs and would like to lose another 10-15 lbs of fat, while maintaining and/or gaining some quality muscle (especially on my upper body).
I want to achieve and maintain 15%-19% body fat, while feeling happy and healthy, and NOT completely deprive myself.
Oh yeah, and I wouldn't mind always looking 5-10 years younger than I actually am. :)
I've been making really good progress the last 5 weeks. I think my thyroid meds and hormones must have stablized and maybe I actually have a metabolism again! In 5 weeks, I've lost 8 lbs (14 lbs total), lost 1 inch on my chest, 2 inches on my waist, 1 inch on my hips, and 1 inch on my thighs...
Monday and Thursdays at 10am I work out with my trainer. We do all full-body supersets (concentrating on different body parts each time) and a lot of core training. Really tough and my shoulders seem to be growing & balancing out! Yeah. On these days I do 45" to 60" of cardio...
Hey girl, you have made stunning and remarkable progress in your workout program, its inspring to see! I was just in Jaco and Quepos in Jan, WOW! I may be coming back, how do you enjoy living there? I'm sooo envious.
You're welcome! I know what you mean! My day is going well or night for me. ;) I've been doing my workouts after I get off at 11pm each night. It's different for me, but challenging myself is all part of the process right!
right on to that! yea nobody wants to hang out with me any more but i have realized i have to live for me.. im not entertainment for other ya know. thanks for understanding the struggle!! hope ya catch some nice breaks today!
