I'd never been in a gym before, however, I was always athletic...so I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a shot! Now I'm hooked!
When I started going to the gym in October 2008, I had had a baby just 4 months previous and was measuring at 134 lbs and 31% body fat. I worked out on my own for a couple months, but decided I could do much better with a trainer. So once I stated that, I got into the nutrition aspect of fitness, including counting calories and logging my food into APEX consistantly. I got a BodyBugg for Christmas and since having started with that, I have noticed a huge difference in my overall health.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing the way my body responds to what I am doing with it. I not only feel and look good for what I am doing, but I am having a blast working out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I am seeing a change in my body everyday, and I am so excited about it. My muscle tone is becoming more apparent and obvious as my body fat is coming down. I love the way I feel, and am loving the progress I am making!
I'm not a huge fan of cardio, but I do it anyway because it's getting me to where I need to be! I am most definately seeing results and rewards for my hard work. Friends are alway complimenting for how good I look for having had a baby a short time ago.

None, yet, but I hope to change this someday.

This picture was taken when I was 6 months pregnant with my 4th daughter, Grace, who was born on June 19th 2008, and my 1.5 year old Faith. It has only been since October 2008 that I have started working out, and my first steps into a gym....ever.
Training for a my first figure competition! Nothing says "crazy" like, heels, bikini and a smile at 36!
Goal (Long):
After having had four babies over the past fifteen years, the most recent blessing arrived on June 19, 2008. I have always been athletic and had a nice body, however, I want to be in better shape than ever, both physically and mentally. I'd never been in a gym prior to this past October, and have seen amazing results in my body's changes in such a short time. I have already lost 17 lbs and am starting to see incredible looking muscles popping out of my amrs, back and legs that I didn't know existed. I am so excited! I want to continue to lose my baby weight and body fat, build muscle and change my whole out look on life from the inside out. I have definately had to make some diet changes, and being consistant with workouts, but I am having a blast doing it. I have an awesome trainer, and I'm hooked on this whole body building thing!!!!
Thanks Beautiful! I think my diet being clean really helped me tighten up.. I didnt get stretch marks on th ebelly with the 6 pregnancies so Im sure that helped with loose skin not being an issue... You have a very lean toned body! Way to represent us mommmies of many!..:) Any other tips I can give ya let me know..:)
My weight has gone up and down as I am trying to lose body fat, maintain my weight and gain muscle....what a crazy game! If anyone has suggestions on how I can cut body fat without losing muscle and a ton more weight, let me know!
