Background
I read the "eat clean diet" book by: Tosca Reno and started eating clean and was already pretty active at the gym. This lady approached me told me I should compete and because I used to love doing pageants I said "why not?" Two weeks later I was training for my first show
I feel better about myself, it increases my enorphins and if I am happy I am nice;)

Hello Bodyspacers, Have you missed me? He he kidding! Lately I have been incorporating different styles of working out into my regimen. I was introduced to Core Fusion Barre by a girlfriend of mine, which is based off of the Lotte Berk Method. It is a combination of yoga, Pilates, orthopedic back exercises, and dance. I wanted to try something new and upbeat, but still incorporating the fundamentals of yoga and Pilates. That way I could get a good stretch but most importantly strengthen my core.... Go to BodyBlog

Howdy Bodyspacers,
Recently I went to my doctor for a check up and found out I had an electrolyte imbalance. I was a little shocked considering how much water I drink daily.
I started doing a little research on it and realized my sodium levels were low due to my diet. As a competitor you grow to fear things like sodium because of how they make you retain water. Sometimes it’s hard to switch your mind off from “competition mode” and back into balanced-maintenance mode.
