How I Started:
Updated Sept 11, 2009: moving back to my hometown in Ohio. Met an awesome group of girls who are all training to compete in the near future. Definitely feeling motivated to step it up a notch and do a competition in early spring! :)
Updated July 16, 2009: Just got out of a big slump, feelin great & ready to get in the gym and kick ass! :)
July 8,2008:I started working out because I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize who I was anymore. I was overweight, had rolls on my arms, and my collarbone had mysteriously dissapeared under a big layer of fat. I realized I just avoided mirrors because I didn't want to see what I had done to my body.
Now that I have exceeded my original goals I am determined to see if I can actually cut down enough to compete.
Why I Love It:
I love the energy I have now and having a healthy lifestyle. Also it is great being around people who have the same enthusiasm about fitness, it helps keep me on track.
How I Stay Motivated:
I walk around in only a sports bra and shorts in my house and when I walk by a mirror I see the results of all of my hard work and think back to how I looked before. I also keep my fat pictures on my Ipod so when I am trying to talk myself out of that cardio I hate doing I can look at them.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 19% body fat, 35 LBS, and 25 inches off of my body so far - in less than 2 years!

I've finally hit my weight loss goal! I am trying to cut down my body fat another 3% and am working on bulking up my shoulders and trying to get a little more definition in my back. Unfortunately I am unusually flexible and double jointed everywhere so it is becoming difficult to up my weights without injuring my joints. I would LOVE more than anything to get over this hurdle and compete sometime soon.
Oh, don't mind me guys. I'm just coming on to see how many 35 year old virgins are posting on here telling her how great she looks and to keep up the good work in hopes of scoring some e-vagine.
