Background

When I Started: Jul 2007
HOW I STARTED:

I have always workout and ran from early as I can remember. After my motorcycle accident 2007 I began this journey to be much better than I was before I begin to lift weight more often than I ran and found it a challenge at the time of my recuping period. As months rolled by I found myself ingulfed in the bodybuilding challenge.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Was a very challenging workout after my accident. I begin to love workout more and more each day I worked out. I like the agreneling rush and the energy after the workout is done. lovethe fact that I can sculpture my body with the use of weights.

Up and running again

Ran my first official road race since my motorcycle accident on Oct.22,2011. Race For The Cure. 5K.  Not a 1/2 marathon as of yet, but a start.  Finished in 25.30.  Not bad for a busted up pelvic.  The race was great, a bite cold and windy with several hills along the course, but I made it. Start to finish, no walking, just pacing it as I had trained. This was the first, now maybe a 10K then the 1/2 marathon, I hope.  Getting there one stride at a time......

If I fail to plan. I plan to fail.  The thought rolls over and over in my mind.  Yes the days and week are long and full of numerous thing that must be done. Today is the day. I am done with the grocery shopping and now it's time for an little pot and pan clinging. Working to cook up next weeks meals, measure them out and place in storage containers for each meal of the day. Got to get it done. Planning is so very important with what you put in your mouth when eating a clean and health way. It is so easy to grab and go, but much more healthy to plan,cook and store so that we can achi...

workouts has been great. I have had to deal with this ongoing pain in my wrist with lifting secondary to the injuries sustained in my motorcycle accident. Ya  I adjust the hand placement and at times the pain eases off... but now I have a new aggravation.  I have been doing knee ups on an decline bench with 5 small pounds of weight, and for some reason it has just begin to hit me where I hurt. I forgot about the pain of having broken my pelvic bone in the front.  I am constantly reminded of the break in the back from my friendly butt pain in my...
