How I Started:
i needed consistent exercise to get my metabolism going faster after i turned 30.
Why I Love It:
it's my own time, the positive aspects are amazing: good posture, release of stress, looking & feeling great...builds confidence and empowers both inside and out, keeps me disciplined and focused knowing i'm doing something good for myself! seeing how far this body can progress and how i can push my own limits. its the best investment you can make. i have been much more confident in dealing with life issues PLUS it really brings me back to what my true priorities are.
How I Stay Motivated:
pushing myself...learning, listening, taking pointers from people who have been able to achieve their goals...thinking of not looking the way i did before...need to shed 16.5-21 more pounds depending on how i feel by that time! i'm seeing & feeling results more quickly now and i'm STARTING to see some definition in my core! I LOVE IT! also feeling stronger and sexier as i go! it's all mental and i believe that now! knowing how much stronger i am now than before...i have issues with my left knee...i've been training often and making sure my knee is safe and not in pain. practice yoga 4x a week. i do as much cardio to burn all the excess calories i consume...about 500 calories 5x a week! can't wait to be in the best shape of my life!
i love talking to people who are as motivated as i am or are now asking questions...i have a bunch of friends who have recently gotten involved with training too...so excited! keep educating people and soon we'll all look & feel FABULOUS!
BB Accomplishments:
muscle tone is great now, triceps, shoulders, legs. have to get more fat off my body...its leaving faster now...which is amazing...a lot of the loss is through better nutrition and pushing myself while training...amount and quality of what i eat and consistent and disciplined training helps even more.

i was 29 here...right before the metabolism hit...didn't have a car so i walked everywhere and took the bus and train...didn't have a gym membership then either...i felt like i was a little heavy here...imagine?!

Goal (Long):
i'm happy to be healthy...my main fitness goals are to cut back my body weight to about 115 pounds and have my body fat at 15%. i'm already feeling stronger from weight training, feeling more endurance and seeing more muscle definition and losing fat with more cardio, getting more flexible by doing yoga regularly. Gaining confidence, great posture, great nutrition, and still keeping it curvy and sexy! My wish list: a six pack that i have NEVER had my whole life but I will and SOON!!!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?

Thanks Chelle :) My holloween was pretty good. Got alot of rest. Yeah, I'm still hitting it HARD! "can't stop, won't stop" Lol. I have no doubt that you will reach all of your goals! Hi Chelle!!! :) How is your holiday going. I wish it would have landed on a monday (3 day weekend)lol. I've been recovering from a cold :( due to no energy I have been restricted to light weights. This sucks! But I stay motivated. Seeing your pics always keep me inspired :)How is everything? :)
totally understand your metabolism troubles! mine took a dramatic dive 6 weeks after I turned 31 - it was horrible. GOOD LUCK with your goals - keep at it!

good for you hun! i used to hate cardio but lately i have been feelin it a lot more than i used to, which is awesome! i think it's because i always see so many hardcore cardio queens at the gym. haha. i am gonna need to hit it extra hard this week because Thanksgiving weekend was a mess. i barely got off my butt and ate soooooo much! it made me thoroughly enjoy my workout today, that's for sure! hope your week is going well so far!
Right on! Hope you had a great workout! Oh yeah! You know me, I train hard and heavy!! lol. I had a pretty good day. I'm just getting ready bed. Work and and gym was good. Mondays are a little hard to get back into the rythm of things you know? But its all good :)
