I've always been athletic. I played football up until college and played basketball all through highschool. After sports I got a job, got married and fell off. Just felt like I needed a change in my life and started doing push-ups and crunches everyday. Once I reached 50 reps in a set with push-ups for 10 sets I began weight lifting. Started with bench. It was a smith machine @ home for a few months until I purchased a treadmill and began cardio to burn fat. Just recently joined a gym and I'm ready to become what I was born to be. An UltraBeast.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it feels good. I love the feeling of my muscles being tight. That hurt so good feeling just makes me feel so awesome. When I'm @ the gym getting that last rep I get the best rush in the world. I love pumping and I will do it forever. Wish I started sooner!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated just by knowing I have an overall goal to become a professional bodybuilder. Knowing that my work is never finished and I have plenty of room for growth. I just want to become what I have been genetically blessed to become and I love the feeling of progression. I will pump iron forever!
BB Accomplishments:
Went down from 260LBS of flab to 217LBS
Got my bench up from 265LBS TO 365LBS
Increased my squat from 205LBS to 565LBS
Increased biceps from 17inches of flab to 20inches of solid ROCK in 6 months!
Started w/ a 43inch chest, now I have a 49inch chest
Continous drive and dedication to pump iron

What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
THE GUY WALKING AROUND LIKE HE'S BUFF WHEN HE'S A SCRUB. I ALSO HATE THE TALKER, SHUT THE F*** UP AND LIFT DAMNIT!

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
HOODY OR SWEAT SHIRTS WITH SWEAT PANTS. I WEAR A T-SHIRT UNDER MY SWEAT SHIRT OR HOODY BECAUSE I'M KEEPING MY MUSCLES WARM SO EVEN WHEN I REST MY MUSLES ARE STILL HEATED. THE AC IN THE GYM COULD COOL YOU DOWN AND I DON'T LIKE TO TRY TO SHOW OFF AND WEAR WIFE-BEATERS AND TANK-TOPS. I'M NOT @ THE GYM FOR ATTENTION, I'M THERE TO PUMP! I WEAR RUNNING SHOES FOR COMFORT. I DON'T TRY TO MAKE A FASHION STATEMENT, I'M READY TO SWEATHOODY OR SWEAT SHIRTS WITH SWEAT PANTS. I WEAR A T-SHIRT UNDER MY SWEAT SHIRT OR HOODY BECAUSE I'M KEEPING MY MUSCLES WARM SO EVEN WHEN I REST MY MUSLES ARE STILL HEATED. THE AC IN THE GYM COULD COOL ...more
I measured my biceps after pumpin' today and what the f***!!! I got 20 inch biceps now. The tape was right on the 20 marker (maybe a little above it) and I was just so excited! I didn't know what to do after seeing the tape go across my bicep. Today was my arm day and I did measure after...
3x10 DEADLIFTS
3X12 SUMO DEADLIFT
3X12 LEG STIFF DEADLIFT
CHINS (AS MANY AS I CAN)PULL UPS WIDE AND CLOSE GRIP
3x12 ONE ARM CABLE ROW
5X10 LAT PULLS (INCREASE WEIGHT 10LBS EACH SET)
ARM STIFF PULL DOWNS (ICNREASE WEIGHT 10LBS EACH SET)
5X10 SEATED ROWS (5X10...
Thats cool. I'll be glad when I can work my schedule out like that. Tsk tsk ... until then, I'll get in whatever I can.
Well, as you already know, diet is important but its good to see you're actually training. So what supps you got in mind with all the savings?
Man, slacking? You? You got the gym in the bottom of your house? How's this possible?
LMAO, but well, you're getting more cardio in than I am. That's good to hear at least.
I have been eating mainly lean meat and vegetables. Are you a fan of fruits during the weight loss phase? I have heard that fruit has alot of sugar that may impede weight-loss.
How things going, brah?
Always making today my best day
Taking pride in a job well done
Treating others with respect
Isolating my negative thoughts
Treating tasks as opportunities
Utilizing my talents every day
Doing the job right the first time
Expecting positive outcomes daily
Speaking well of others every day
Man, you might be slacking on your diet but you still want to get big so getting up to 250 may not be a bad thing. Depends on what you look like. Most could be muscle.
Then again, you might need to up your cardio.
I feel like I slack on my diet despite the fact I eat clean all the time. Crazy, I know but I'm hard on myself like that. I think my biggest problem is lack of sleep though.
Well, I might look cut but hell, I want your size. Height wouldn't be too bad either.
You know. The way you make that sound reminds me of training at barbell club, a private gym that used to exist in a basement of an old building at GT. Tsk tsk, man, all I used to do was just focus on the work, the pump, and then after that, leave and walk home.
He he, but well, at least you don't have to worry about the getting home part post-leg workout.
Man, thats a crazy sized basement. Yeah, thats a nice space for a home gym. Geez man.
He he, and of course, when its time for cardio just set up the PS3 next to the treadmill. Aye ... I'm jealous now.
Man, what part of VA are you in? He he, I haven't been up there in ages. He he, chins and dips till no more reps? I try to do that all the time. I don't know how well it works. ;-)
At any rate, I told you I wish I had a wife that awesome. A power tower? He he, cables and you'll have everything. How big is your basement?
Man, you doing squats and deads in the basement now? Damn, I want a set up like that but well, I wouldn't be doing bench down there.
That is hardcore as hell. Congrats on closing that big assed account as well as getting down to 240. Hhhmmm, I'm kinda upset I didn't make it to the gym today.
SWEET!!! Down to 241. He he, and long weekends. Man, I've got some long ones myself. They always manage to try to kick my ass too but eh, I wish they were a bit more relaxing.
LMAO, I get to torture myself fully though. Thats always cool. What you got keeping you busy?
