How I Started:
While I've always wanted to compete, I decided I was going to do a show when my trainer, Jenn (competes in Fitness Division - www.fitnessjenn.com) and I started talking about the new NPC Bikini Division.
Why I Love It:
My favorite thing about working out/training for competition is being able to see results and watch your self improve. I think being able to measure results- getting faster, stronger, better is just the most motivating thing ever.
How I Stay Motivated:
The girls that I work out with three times a week at Fitness Jenn's are the best support system ever. Although our goals are all different, whether to lose weight or get through a 2 minute fitness routine on stage - we all are there for one another and help push each other along through rough patches.

I competed in my first NPC bikini competition in July, as originally planned! My goal is to continue to stay in shape and improve my conditioning for the next show I plan to do in November.
