I've been reading about training and fitness competition for about a year. I'm just now deciding I want to participate.
Why I Love It:
I love the rush I get.I have chronic pain due to a car accident I was in. When I workout, I feel so great I forget about the pain I live with every day.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's very hard and right now I'm making it rough. I basically yell at myself and just force myself through the chocolate times and I'm happy when I see the end of the tunnel.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 50 lbs. is a pretty big accomplishment. I'm happy about that.
I want to be in good enough shape that I could compete if I wanted to.
Goal (Long):
I want to lose another 24 lbs. in the next 6 months and get much more overall definition. That would put my weight at 135. I read the magazine Oxygen almost religiously and am constantly motivated by the women in it. I've been strict with my eating 2 other times in the past and each time I was able to lose 50 lbs. The highest I've ever weighed was 219. I've recently lost 20 lbs. in the last 3 months and would like to finally get to my goal weight. I'm motivated and have the support and participation of my husband this time around. I'm excited!
