How I Started:
I started going through my second divorce and had a "come to Jesus meeting" with myself, realizing that part, if not all of the problems I was facing were of my own making and wanted to be healthy for myself and for all the right reasons.
Why I Love It:
The spiritual high I get from focusing on the physical melded with the mental and the serious pump that I feel. I am also really competetive and like the looks on peoples faces when I lift more than some guys. :)
How I Stay Motivated:
This is REALLY hard for me. I get discouraged, hit the sweets and pastries and feel my pants getting tighter and tighter and then force myself to look at myself. The mirror is always harsh for women, but its very harsh when you refuse to pay attention for a while.
BB Accomplishments:
I have gone from a 180 lb. leg press for 12 reps X 3, to a 590 lb. final leg press after starting my routine with 230 lbs for 100 reps, 320 lbs for 50 reps, 410 lbs for 25 reps, 500 lbs for 12 reps and 590 lbs for 8 reps. I have increased my strength alot but I am finding it very difficult to cut the body fat! grr... its become maddening.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Back related lifts. So many people know nothing about their backs nor how to care for all the finely tuned muscles.
