I got started because I simply wanted myself to look better and I wanted to feel better about myself. I have been plagued by a low self esteem for a long time and I want to change that.
Why I Love It:
The feel after biking is just phenomenal. Sometimes sweating feels great especially when I had a bad day. I know this feeling when I was trying out weight lifting... I actually like the feeling I get.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of positives, I use sites and people talking to me helps me a lot.
I want to feel better about myself and make myself healthier and more attractive. I feel in many ways I'm too fat and unattractive, so I want to improve myself so I can find that woman I will be with... and to make myself feel better in general.
Well, since I'm still jobless and don't have the money to go to a gym I am going to be starting off a with some basic stuff. Pushups, crunches, sit ups, and if I can find a pull up bar in my city I'll take advantage of that.
yo kev,how are things, you semm to be quite busy cause i see that you do not have alot of activity on your profil.what's been up,how's training and the diet?did u give it a shot at what i've been telling u;anyways,I'm hoping and wishing you and your family a merry christmas and a happy new year, lets talk soon(write),sincerely,J-F..
Hey man, I had a suggestion for you. I noticed you said you do not have a membership and a weight set is pretty spendy, so how about resistance training with a band? You can do bench press, curls, lateral raises. They make them at diff elasticity also for variable difficulty
good luck with the diet,i hope you follow it;the name of the guy that i've got the diet from Christopher Mohr(he's a writer/bodybuilder)for bodybuilding.com.It's called the seven day meal plan by chris mohr.it works man,i'm the living proof..
YO,SHADOW FLARE kEV,WASS UP BROTHER,how's training and dieting, are you getting her attention now my man or perhaps, maybe dating her, hoping the best for your success in whatever you undertake in your everyday life, tryly and always,J-F.post some pics when you are done dieting..
whats up kev,are you following my diet plan or at least giving it a shot?i herd you lost 2 pounds, good for you man, glad to hear your making progress,later,J-F
(continue) look up :njd07 that's his profil, his name is Ian Davis,i used to work with him,he lives near where i live.so i guess what i want to say is,if He can do it,so do you bro, believe me,sincerly,J-F: I just want your success!!from the heart bro!!
another thing ,i have a friend on bodybuilding.com,he's been where you were,he was thin and laughed at but now you should see what he looks like,he is huge and strong. He used to weigh 180lbs at 6"1 and 1/2 and now weighs approx:225-230lbs;now people don't laugh or look at him the same way, believe me
I think that i'm telling you all this because i want you to succeed,I know where you come from cause i was there once,i've been teased and laughed at,but now ,its not so much happening but only when people are expressing their hidden jealousy.there are alot of insecure people in gyms, believe me,they don't like guys that can say things and back it up the way i do and i'm not being arrogant or pretentious,i prove it.
i have another supplement too that you may take for muscle preservation when on low carbs,:Glutamine,it's called L-GLUTAMINE,it helps sparing your muscle mass while dieting take:1)5 grams(i tea spoon)morning 2)5 grams in the afternoon or after workout,3)before bed because when you sleep, your not eating so you hit catabolism(muscle loss)so it prevents it.just a trick of the trade.
you've got the same kind of calves that i've got, ripped but mine are only 14 inches in size versus my quads that are a cut 25 inches, your calves seems bigger than mine, hell, everybody's got bigger calves than my pencils hahaha!!!
about your fibre intake, try allbran, try this, take your serving of all bran in water(totaly gross but it works)for a couple of days then for the next couple of days, with half a cup of milk and so on.reason why is if you take your required amount of carbs a day,you try not to add extra(there some in milk),so limit your milk a bit while on low carb.
you will notice a little water in the bottom abdominal region, thats the stubborn part and the bitch to rid off.another trick, use dandelion supplements 2x per day(morning and afternoon)for approx 2-3 weeks and this should be more than sufficient to rid water and you'll have abs.
your body says, wait a minute,i was digesting 3500 cals for a few days and now i'm down to 2400 cals, result, more weight and fat loss;do this trick every 10 days(3 high calorie day)trust me it works. When you get near the end of your diet, now you can start(for maintenance)eating ie:2 days higher carb days following by 3 days or 4 of low carb days and so on,keep tricking your body by eating differently,by using cheat meals on weekend etc....at this point, around the 7th week, you should see your abs.
meaning that your body adapts to your diet plan resulting in a reduce weight loss.up them for 2-3 days then after those 3 days lower them back to 2400 cals.reason is that you are confusing your body by stimulating the metabolism to consume more food and by reducing back the calories,
to get back to what i was saying, after those 5 weeks, you gonna need to replenish so up your carbs(2x)for three days.i forgot, divide these 2400-2500 cals in six meals for speeding up metabolic rate. If you see that you are stalling on your weight loss, try uping your cals to 3500 cals for a couple days.the reason is that you want to shock your system.
maintain this diet for at least 5 weeks with no cheating what so ever.you can also add a couple tbspoons of Metamucil(not all the time) every 3rd day so it cleans out your system and shrinks your belly, trust me,i did it,it ****ing works.
a diet plan for you try it trust me,1)you wont starve,2)you'll have sustained energy through out the day.It is quite simple. Eat no more and no less than 2400-2500 cals a day(switch it from day to day to shock system),consume at least,no less than 250 grams prots. per day and carbs:between 150-200 grams per day,no more than that and flax seed(2 tble spoons in the morning.
also, eggs is a great source of prots.take 2 yellows and 3 whites in the morning with a 1/2 cup to 1 cup of oatmeal and an apple then go for a workout.Oat meal and allbran was my biggest secret to getting cut(fibre is the key to fat loss and gut loss) and it still is cause i want to remain lean.
(continue)cook ground beef then rinse it into a strainer and use your hands to squeeze the fat out while rinsing under water.you've got yourself some lean and fat free beef;cost 5 to 6$ per 600-670 grams pack(1.5 lbs)servings(3 cups and a bit or 3 meals).calories per half cup:250 cal,prot:23 grams
(CONTINUE)to answer your question, adding those type of fats in your diet will prevent you from going into a catabolic state(muscle loss).so now, something cheap that was economical for my diet and that i've used regularely besides protein powder, ground beef.
