ive been lifting on and off for about five years, but im just starting to get focused now. Ive finally found a purpose for getting bigger and stronger.
Why I Love It:
i like the feeling i get from lifting heavy weights. it feels like ive achieved something when i add on an extra ten pounds to a lift.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just imagine how being physically strong will help me achieve my goal.
Also, Brooks Kubik's book dinosaur training is pretty phenomenal.
I want to go to the Army SFAS course and dominate it.
Goal (Long):
I need to get into the best shape of my life. I need to be bigger, stronger, faster and tougher then everyone else at selection.
I need to lose at least fifteen solid pounds of fat, and id like to put on another ten pounds or so of muscle in my legs and upper body.
I need to drastically change my eating habits, and work on my stamina as well.
I also need to do all this in a natural and healthy way. I dont want to use any miracle supplements, nor do i want to go on any crazy diets.
Above all, whether i get selected or not, i want to include my wife in transforming my body. id like for her to feel proud about what we accomplished together when its all said in done.
so, as anyone in the army knows, the army is "big" on fitness. yet i see alot of fat people walking around wearing the army pt uniform. now i am not the most in shape cat out there, that is for sure. however, i do work out on a regular basis, and am on the fairly stronger...
Yep, I did too. And as you know, the turkey was too dry and the place was packed. All the joys of a soldierly Thanksgiving. One has to love this life. If not, why are we still here? Stay motivated!
lol, sure do, and once you get home its all NCOES and other schools and then before you know it another deployment is coming and all the planning and training, never stops, the gym is my release fromn it all
