Background
When I Started: Oct 1996
HOW I STARTED:
It started with going to aerobics as a kid with my mom, I guess I was a bit of a cardio queen until I picked up the weights and my body started changing. I still remember my first real leg workout, I was sore for a week.
WHY I LOVE IT:
Bodybuilding makes me feel in control of my life. When I'm training that's all there is, no bills, no headaches, just me and the weights. It's my chance to be totally completely selfish.

My Motivation Program
It's never been a question of needing motivation to train, it's more needing motivation to stay on a diet. Until I did my first show I had never dieted that hard. Looking at pics from old shows I have done motivates me to improve for the next one. I like to pull out my suits and see how tiny my butt is going to need to be to fit into them. That usually stops me from going crazy on whatever might be lurking somewhere in the back of the cupboard.
