Cordova High Attended 2000 to 2004 Rancho Cordova, California United States
When I Started:
May, 2009
How I Started:
I started gaining weight while i was in school. I had school in the evenings, so it threw my whole eating schedule off! i'd get out of school at 10pm and be SO hungy, and what are the only places open that late? McDonalds and In-N-Out(itsa Cali thing!) So i would get full combo meals at like 10:30pm and then pass out right after! yeah i know! pretty gross!
i also gained the weight since being hired at SBux! damn pastries and frapp's!
i gained a total of 20lbs...jeez
This past February09 I enlisted in the Air Force Reserves. That alone motivated me to get into shape and lose weight! (also, my summer clothes from last year barely went over my thighs!! yikes!) So after i graduated, i started working out on a consistent basis and changing my eating habits, and now its not even about getting fit for the AF BMT, but I want to transform my whole body to better myself! =)
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel really good! and also the end result makes you look amazing!
How I Stay Motivated:
Cant be a warrior airman and fight for my country if I'm not in shape!
BB Accomplishments:
Lol, I have no interest in becoming a bodybuilder!
I gained weight at BMT! ahh! Lol but now that I've graduated, I can have my own workout regimen again at the gym!
Goal (Long):
i wanto lose the grotesque fat that i've gained from eating fast food late at night, and with all the pastries and frappuccinos from Starbucks!
Also, since being enlisted in the USAF Reserves i wanto get ready for BMT by achieving "Warhawk" PT standards
I am no longer attracted and wanting to be just "skinny" it turns me off, its gross, yeah, anyone can be skinny, but theres no definition, curves, no muscle..you're justa stick. and the girls with the flat stomachs, its not impressive anymore, try getting intense ABS! THATS impressive!
So my overal long term goal is to lose weight and get lean and strong! achieve cut abs and a little cut on my tri's! yess!! LETS GO!!
So today is the BIG day that I've been waiting for since Feruary! Going to basic training for the Air Force! (I'm a reservist though) Im currently sitting at the gate at the airport right now just waiting for my flight to take off at 0915.
I wish you success as you work towards your fitness goal. Although it takes a lot of drive and determination I know that you are ready for it. Challenge yourself to do the best that you can do and the rewards will be worth it.
I look forward to watching your progress. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Remember:
"Goals are the fuel for the furnace of achievement."
WooHoo! Congratulations!! I want to hear all about it when you get a chance. Be sure to drop me a line when you have more time! Congrats again and have fun in tech school!!
i'm just excited for you ... i know it's a big day, and i remember my big days (BMT and OTS) just like they were yesterday. I look forward to welcoming you to the AF family. If you get this before they bus you to Lackland, just know everyone is rooting for you (even me:). Can't wait to hear from you afterwards ... we're gonna have SOOOO much to talk about :) lol now, go tear'em up!! :)

don't worry ... you're gonna do GREAT! keep a positive attitude and remember, when the TI's are gettin on you about something, it's not personal ... just fix it and move on! good luck and i sincerely hope to hear from you once you graduate. stay in touch, ok!!
they've changed that credit card process since i went ... but i'd suggest taking at least some small amounts (airline approved amounts ... 3 ounces, i think) along with you to get your started. i'm sure you'll get a chance to do SOME necessity shopping within a few days, but you don't want to have to be bummin soap and shampoo the moment you get there :)
i'm sure you're excited ... this is an awesome day ... the day you began serving the world's most powerful Air Force!!
