Graham is an inspiration because of his amazing transformation from being shredded to being Huge!!! Great job Graham. and Congrats on your first BB show!
Nicolas is an inspiration to me because he seems to have never given up on his goals. He has been able to gain a significant amount of weight! Being about the same starting weight as him my whole life makes nicolas the perfect role model of the potential us skinny guys can look forward to attaining with hard work and perseverance! Nicolas is the Man!
Hi there, thanks for the comments. I started working out in March of 2009, but wasn't lifting much weight nor eating properly, so i wasn't gaining much. It wasn't until about August that I got my diet in check and started noticing measurable results
Great to hear from you mate and cheers for the feedback. 8 weeks on and my injury has finally passed and limited some or my lifts (no triceps and some shoulder exercises) and boxing. Have managed to maintain but next week it's back on! Great to here that you are firin, you should post some pics. I will be following. Feel free to pop into my training journal which gives insights on training and diet, link =>http://forum.bodybuilding .com/showthread.php?t=11608938 1
Hey mate, thanks for checkin in on me. Training has taken a bit of hit as a I tore a tricep muscle but it's recovering slooowly..grr! Still holding strong though as I have switched to compound move training to safeguard mass. How's your training coming along?
Oh yes I am! I am having a grand old time at the gym these days too. Everything is falling into place and it's so much fun! I hope you are riding the same happy wave!
Yeah mate it's been hard keeping at it, especially as i went away for half a year. The past few months have been going well though. How's it been going for you?
Hey man, check out my body blog for my nutrition plan and also my journal for training ideas. I have a couple of references (which I will have to find) and then I'II send them to you. More than happy to help, know all too well the challenges of trying to build lean mass! In the meantime, drop me a PM if you have any questions.
Hi there! Looks like we both have the same challenge. I was always the skinny girl in the crowd. You've got to lift heavy BUT the good news is you get to EAT!! Looking forward to hearing about your progress!
Hey mate, thanks for the add. I usually limit my workout to 45m per session and train each bodypart at least once a week. I reckon less is more when it comes to training as you avoid over-training.But the major driver is nutrition. Hope this helps. Cheers bro
Josh, thanks for the add. If you are short on time keep your workouts heavy and limited to two major exercises of 3-4 sets each. The only caveat is a really good warm up and then do all out ball busting sets. Meaning ever set will should feel like it will be your last. I have made gains with less than half an hour available to me. Being deployed really teaches you a lot in this regard.
