How I Started:
To be honest, I jumped in blindly at first! The "cold turkey" method does not work for me and my self esteem needed a huge positive kick in the upward direction! I do love to workout and eat right. I embraced procrastination for so long that I thought change was impossible. But, my body begs to be sexier and I am more than ready to honor that!
Why I Love It:
It is a healthy, stress free lifestyle that you can benefit from over and over again. Not to mention, the compliments and positive looks you get are a huge boost in my esteem!
How I Stay Motivated:
Visualization tools, music, articles from this website, and positive people like you are what really push me to keep going!

200lbs! I am 15lbs shy of what I weighed when I first deployed 10 months ago! I gained thirty pounds since October! So disappointing but things are looking up!
It feels good to be facing in the right direction! I can't wait to see what this summer brings!

Goal (Long):
My personal trainer is SuperMaine! My goals for 2009 are:
- To permanentaly be a Raw Vegan
- To become more active by: walking, Jogging, weight training (P90X), and tons of cardio. Not to mention, finally learning to swim was a huge bonus!
- To log all my progress and stay committed to this forum, my self, my blog, and my support teams.
- To go from 200lbs (29DEC08) to 130lbs (30DEC09)! And maintain that weight!
- To learn to walk, run, and dance in High heels. It will take a lot of practice every day.
- To be able to do 100 male pushups, pull ups, and situps by the end of the year. Which means, I am going to have to practice right now. Currently, I can do ten male pushups, no pullups, 40 situps.
Sorry my friends and family for the lack of response the stress of the divorce knocked me flat on my bum but I am still pushing strong. I hope to have new pics and progress stats up real soon...Summer is here and one needs to be looking hot hot hot for the beaches...I love u all and...
