How I Started:
My Dad introduced me to weightlifting when I was in 8th grade. I was playing basketball for my Jr. High team at the time and it really helped me in every aspect of the game.
Why I Love It:
Feeling GREAT is where it's at. To feel good, look good, and be good can only be achieved by hard work, and that's why I love it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at profiles on Bodyspace and remember that these are normal people, doing extraordinary things through dedication to hard work. I also want to be a catalyst for other people to get in the shape that they want to be in, so I need to look the part.
BB Accomplishments:
I've lost 45 scale lbs from my "fattest".
I have 11 more scale lbs to go to reach my initial goal!

The overshadowing feeling I have towards reaching my goal is that I want to be proud of the body I'm walking around in. I want people to look at me (like they did 10 years ago) and think, "Wow, he takes good care of himself!". Of course the most important aspect of "looking good" is the immeasurable health benefits of being fit.
Sarah made a transformation unlike anything I've ever seen. That comes only by hard work, and no one can deny that alone as being inspirational. Great job Sarah!
wow! that is really great! I did my 5K this Saturday and it went great! Very cold and the rain kind of messsed my time up , but other than that I felt great.
