How I Started:
I was quite the late developer so I never worked out consistently until the summer after my high school graduation. I started casually working out when I was 18, started to see results, and I've been hooked ever since.
Why I Love It:
I am fascinated with what the human body is capable of, and this has helped me develop a passion in both the gym and in school. My curiosity to understand the details behind the performance of the body has helped motivate me as I pursue a career in medicine.
How I Stay Motivated:
I always try to change my workout and dieting program as soon as I begin to see a plateau forming or if I begin to get bored. I also try to have both a short term and long term goal to keep things interesting.
BB Accomplishments:
Personal accomplishments: When I initially started lifting consistently in 2005, I was 5'11" and 140 lbs. I gained 10 lbs. of muscle in the summer of '05, 10 lbs. of muscle in the summer of '06, and 10 lbs. of muscle in each of '07 and '08. I'm now 6'0" and 180 lbs. with 8% body fat.

So I finished the 16 week Scrawny to Brawny workout and went from 170 to 195 lbs with 9-10% BF. Very happy with the results and now I'm set on a consistent nutrition plan that I'm comfortable tweaking as I see the need to gain/lose BF.
