12 Weeks to Hard Gains w/ Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size
I'm a hardgainer with a freakishly high metabolism, your ultimate ectomorph. I've experimented with a lot of methods to gain weight. Nothing gave me better results than straight-up lifting hardcore. This means my ultimate goal is muscle building, while fueling my body with the best possible nutrients and supplements. I spent eight weeks testing the waters with weight gainers and steady training, but now it's time to turn it up a notch after seeing little to no results from a "bulk season".
I've joined the BB.com Employee Transformation Challenge and will spend the next 12 Weeks packing on as much muscle as possible. Join me on my journey here on BodySpace as I train with Jim Stoppani Ph.D. ( www.bodybuilding.com/fun/shortcut-to-size.html )

I supplement most vitamins & minerals as well as protein, BCAA's & pre-workout intesifiers.
I make sure to take my daily Fish Oil & Multivitamins as well as Melatonin, ZMA & BCAA's.
I am an extreme hardgainer so lately I've been trying the 5000 calorie per day mix called Russian Bear. I will report after taking this for over 2 months if I gained any weight at all.

Stay motivated with BodySpace!
There are limited things that have the enthusiasm to give me enough motivation to keep going with my training.
I was lucky enough to have a Workout Partner during my first 12 Week Trainer which literally got me through it with confidence. Having a motivator, a spotter and a reciprocal of the healthy routine you're building are all the most positive things you can set yourself up with.
A lot of my other motivation comes from BodySpace users and the attention you can get from posting about your experiences during training. We are all in this together, so why not help each other by showing the problems we encounter and how we solve them, the challenges we face and the methods we used to demolish them. Photos get comments, likes and views. Your page gets comments and encouragement. Everything about BodySpace pushes you to keep doing better.
When I need to see some good motivational posters / images I'll head to the Bodybuilding.com Forum where there are literally hundreds or even thousands of threads with the greatest content. Say hello to the misc'ers while you're there.
seanboone I've fallen off the workout wagon, feeling skinny and weak again and lost a lot of muscle already. Might be ready to pick back up soon...
May 6, 2013 | Likeseanboone Head spinning, SO MANY awesome projects going on right now! Great stuff always coming... good to be a bb.com'er.
Apr 25, 2013 | Likeseanboone created a new BodyBlog entry "12 Week Trainer - End Report".
I finished my 12 Week Trainer last week and took my final pictures. I feel this time around I had so many things going on I really slid off toward the end, even with a week extension. I work out at home and had moved to a new house earlier this month which made my training chopped up and self-cooking come to a halt. I was broke for a couple weeks after paying a bunch of bills and what-not so my eating was basically what I could scrounge up. I also went to a design conference... Go to BodyBlog
