How I Started:
at the age 15,i got a gym membership for my birthday!
what a great bday prezzie! i trained,and trained and trained,being 7 stone wet though at the time,i sadly did not know i was over training.
by the time i left school i put no weight on,pretty much no fat! just a toned small body! with terrbley skinny legs!
i picked up ROBERT KENNEDYS MUSCLEMAG and started reading about training,nutrition and basic principals
I WAS HOOKED!
seeing shots of RONNIE COLEMAN and KEVIN LEVRONE.learned that there was a mr olympia called DORIAN YATES,who trained 20 mins away from my home!(even tho he had retired lol)
in 05 i brought jay cutler dvd - 1 step closer,that was a true inspiration! whoa!!crazy!! then i saw my fello brummy boy dorian blood and guts dvd,pure intensity,grinding out heavey weights.pure awsome!
in 06 i watched my first pro show via webcast thanks to bdybuilding.com i was lucky enough to see my fav bodybuilder JAY CUTLER take home the sandow!
this inspired me to train,train with meaning,with a reason,the reason to compete!
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding IS a lifestyle,i believe when people say this,they say it because that all the see and think.YES i do think bodybuilding is a lifestyle,but i think thats more of an insult,bodybuilding is a way of life.this SPORT changes lives,improves life,give us the power to make a change! BODYBUILDING IS A RELIGION.I will be faithful til the day i die,sure,there will be ups and down.but as long a i kee moving forward i will become the person i want aspire to!
How I Stay Motivated:

i always train for,not today,for tomorrow....
my meaning of this is,from yesterday workout,we have made the important step to improveing our body,mind and spirit,gains will not come slowly,they will come
just neva miss a meal......train hard but smart!

i will change this soon,as i will compete this year or next dependingon my weight!
i plan to compete in my first bodybuilding show in 1 year aroud may time.
my current fitness manager at fitness first (the company i work for) she was a successful female bodybuilder,and we share and talk about our passion and she has inspired me to compete,she did turn pro,but never did a pro event.
I will step on stage and win my first show.I do not want to just compete for the sake of it,i want to stand up and be counted!

Well I started dabbling with training a year ago but I really started working out proper proper the very beginning of Dec 08...so quite recently. Plus Ive been eating clean since then too so things are progressing nicely enough :)
Think I might be going over to london with uni friends in a few weeks. Ive been there twice before, its cool.
