I am actually just starting into bodybuilding. I have been an athlete my whole life. I was a competitive national level gymnast for 10 years. I am starting bodybuilding and I'm really pumped about it. I need all the advice I can get so please email me whatever you got--diet ideas, inspirations, workouts, anything.
Why I Love It:
Gets your blood moving, excited, and it isnt about being big, or taking steroids or anything like that--its a good lifestyle to lead.
How I Stay Motivated:
Keeping what I want to look like as a clear picture in my mind.
-I want to weight 150 lbs by May 1st.
-I want to Bench 175 by June 1st.
-I want to squat 150 by June 1st.
I want to gain muscle because right now I'm too small. At only 137.5 I need more mass to gain more muscle. I haven't been doing this long but I am dedicated. I love being in the gym. I love lifting. I love the high it gives me to leave knowing my muscles are worked to the core. I love the soreness I feel. I am going to do this. I am going to be a bodybuilder.
Why? Because I am an athlete.
