Background
Actually got my first weight bench when I was about 14 years old. Played around on it for a short time, thinking I wanted to look like Conan the Barbarian. But soon lost interest at that age and never did anything involving weights in highschool. Then in college I would hit the rec dept gym once in a while if I had the time, but again, never put a lot of effort into it. Finally got serious years later in 2008 after 3 kids. Better late than never I suppose. The wife calls it my "pre-midlife crisis". I call it My time, long overdue!
It's great escape from the everyday stress. I'm also not getting any younger, so I see bodybuilding as a way to stay fit and healthy for both myself and my family. I want to be around for them for as long as I can and hopefully be an inspiration to my children for them to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well.

G works his tail off in his own home gym, nobody to push him. Nobody to tell him what to do or how to do it. He just gets up off his tail and does it. He's self motivated and he's done a great job. Not to mention, he's just a genuine all 'round nice guy.
