About 4 years ago, I found myself setting in a doctor’s office hearing the words for the first time that I was a little over weight. My waist had increased from a size 30 in college to a 34. Two weeks later I joined a gym and never looked back.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy competing with myself for 30 to 45 minutes every day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Make it a priority and have turned it into a habit. I never tell myself, “I have to go workout.” Instead, I tell myself “I want to do this at the gym today.” However, in the last few months I have found that putting my workout plan to paper and tracking the results keeps things a little more exciting. This has also helped me to switch things up and not stay fixed on the same exercises and weight.
BB Accomplishments:
I initially lost 35 pounds and about 4 inches of fat from my waist. Over the last couple of years, I have kept the waist size down and started to put on muscle weight.
yah i mean i snack on veggies and fruit and nuts it all depends but i keep protein high and just try and eat as many veggies as i can not alot of starchy carbs if any..and yah i do cardio 6 day someimtes 5 depends..how many carbs do you usually get
basically none...I think if i did it would shred the last bit off. But i'm so exhausted after lifted i stretch and go home. I try to go with the philosophy that muscle burns calories during the day repairing itself from lifting. I think it works as long as i eat clean, that's the toughest part for me...Love to eat junk!
