How I Started:
I first discovered my interest in lifting in high school when i realized i could lift more than all the girls in my weights class, and could squat more than the boys. After that, it was an on-and-off hobby that I did. I put away the weights for a few years and just ran here and there. I didn't get real serious about it until I was invited to do an unofficial bodybuilding competition with some friends, it was then that I remembered how much I loved lifting and was inspired to learn more about the sport.
Why I Love It:
It sets me apart, it puts me in a different class, and best of all it is going to benefit me 10 fold.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror, and I guess I just have this image burned in my mind, and I can't stop 'till I achieve that...and even then, I'll keep going.
Oh, and I also stay motivated by the old crippled people and obese people who come to the restaurant I work at, I refuse to let my body go either of those directions at ANY point in my life.

Goal (Long):
Got a little unfinished business at the Vancouver show, sure it's a little political, but it keeps me motivated to work my hardest!! Moreover, I want to give this next show 110%-I want to add more muscle to mostly my upper body, but also my hamstrings, I want to get my abs to pop even more as well as those delts!! I want a wider lat spread, and I want to get leaner than my last show. All very possible...25 weeks and counting!!! Here we go!!!

Yea, get back to me on how that goes. I just got back into the gym today. Very sad with how much I have lost in 2 months. I'mma push myself to get it all back.
Happy New years to you too! You say the 5 week out look is doable. My question is, would you be able to improve any part of your body you wanted for your next comp with trying to stay at the 5 week out look? Would training or eating not be diminished by trying to keep that look.
Aww...I have a liquid one and I take it right before I eat anything after having woken up. I guess that is the only reminder to take a drink before I eat. =)
You look great by the way. Don't feel down about your jeans fitting nice. Your body wasn't meant to stay at the comp weight all the time.
