I first discovered my interest in lifting in high school when i realized i could lift more than all the girls in my weights class, and could squat more than the boys. After that, it was an on-and-off hobby that I did. I put away the weights for a few years and just ran here and there. I didn't get real serious about it until I was invited to do an unofficial bodybuilding competition with some friends, it was then that I remembered how much I loved lifting and was inspired to learn more about the sport.
Why I Love It:
It is something to challenge me and motivate me to get up in the morning...it's a continual process which is always forcing you to challenge your body and mind. It keeps me from getting bored.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror, and I guess I just have this image burned in my mind, and I can't stop 'till I achieve that...and even then, I'll keep going.
BB Accomplishments:
None thus far, but I will be competing in the Vancouver Naturals come March '09...I finally got a trainer!!! :D:D:D

My first goal that I am going to achieve is to tone those thighs and butt and to lose the majority of that body fat.

Hello,
I just have a quick question for you if you don't mind. My wife came across your profile, her build and frame is similar to yours. She also struggles with the thigh and rearend area, from your updated pictures you have made some great changes (nice work!). I was curious if you cut a lot of your carbs (even slow burning) to get that stubborn area to burn the fat? That is the only fat she has left on her but she can't seem to get it to burn. Thanks for your help.
