Well i was going to switch to 3 times a week but i decided not to. I personally do abs and obliques monday,tuesday,thursday, and friday. So 4 times a week but they still get a nice break to heal. I personally find this routine to work.

Sounds good. I cant emphasize enough on not missing ab days. Make sure when you set up your routine you stick to those days and dont miss

It will feel good man, but one thing I advise is do not do weighted oblique exercises. This will make you look like you have muffin tops and thought it would be muscle it wouldn't look as well. So stick to just non weight oblique exercises.
