When I Started: no information entered
HOW I STARTED:

I have been working out for a while. I have lost and gained weight back but can never seem to actually reach my goal. This time I am set to reach it. Im tired of being fat and unhappy. I want to see my abs for once and for all!!

WHY I LOVE IT:

It make me feel beautiful and strong. You cant beat that combo.

So much freakin research

Ok...more research done. Online reasearch, anyway, listening to lectures on the biochemistry of fat loss. I came across a book by Doug McGruff (a doctor) and some other guy (a trainer/fitness expert) that talks about high intensity training. I am totally intrigued by this theory that training once or twice a week with very heavy weight in a specific manner will force you body into fat burning mode. Couple this with a paleo diet (not "low carb" per se but better carbs) and apparently the theory is that you will turn your body into a fat burning machine.

OK, it's now the start of 2012 and I am comitted to a new me this year. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I was a chubby kid, chubby teen and sm s chubby adult. I have lost weight over and over only to gain it back quickly the minute I went off my diligent routine. This included a year and a hlaf of my life in which I lost 20 pounds after working with a trainer one on one and having s detailed nutrition program of clean eating provided for me.
